Ford Reveals the All-New 2020 Super Duty

Whether you've towed a heavy trailer around Detroit or carried a heavy load to a work site near Dearborn, it's likely you've encountered the powerful Ford Super Duty line of trucks. These heavy-duty pickups are ubiquitous among drivers with intense demands for durability and performance, and they've only improved over time. That remains true with the latest iteration of this model.

Earlier this year, Ford revealed the 2020 Super Duty to the public. The new models have been completely redesigned for 2020, offering up fresh styling, improved capability, and other upgrades throughout.

The big news, of course, is what lies under the hood. Ford claims significant power improvements for its popular Power Stroke Turbo Diesel V8 engine. Super Duty trucks will also offer two gas V8 engine options for the first time. The 6.2-liter V8 remains an option, but the new kid on the block is the massive 7.3-liter V8. We haven' t yet heard power ratings, but the new 7.3-liter unit is sure to excite truck enthusiasts near Dearborn Heights with its impressive displacement alone.

Ford has upgraded the 2020 Super Duty to keep up with modern technology, as well. New trucks will offer technology options like automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and more. You can even get your Super Duty with Pro Trailer Backup Assist. Additionally, the new Super Duty offers standard mobile Wi-Fi capability with its 4G LTE connection.

There's still a lot to find out about the 2020 Super Duty before it's available to shoppers near Allen Park later this year. If you would like to stay abreast of developments and information, give us a call. We can send you updates and even help you build and order your own 2020 Super Duty.
